We already know that the iPhone SE 4 will borrow design inspiration from the iPhone XR, which was launched in 2018. While the launch is a while away, you can expect the rumour mill to reveal most details before the launch. But if the past launch history of SE models is any indication, we can expect the new iPhone SE 4 to launch in March 2024. Unfortunately, Kuo has not revealed when the upcoming iPhone SE 4 with Apple 5G chip will be launched. Clearly, the upcoming iPhone SE 4 will be a significant upgrade in terms of display. On the other hand, the iPhone SE 5G features a 4.7-inch LCD display with thicker bezels. Moreover, Kuo states that the iPhone SE 4 will resemble the current iPhone 14 with the same 6.1-inch OLED screen with thin bezels. Notably, the iPhone SE 3, aka the iPhone SE 5G that Apple launched last year, supports 5G through Qualcomm’s custom Snapdragon X57 chip. Kuo also mentions that the connectivity of the new chip will be limited to sub-6GHz bands of 5G. This information is confirmed by the decline in Apple’s orders to Qualcomm. According to Kuo, the new iPhone SE 4 production has started with a proprietary Apple 5G chip.
